Tiger Woods was involved in a car accident in Florida at 2:25AM this morning. Woods sustained injuries but was released from the hospital later in the day. According to Florida Highway Patrol, no one else was inside the 2009 Cadillac sport utility vehicle.

According to Woods’ spokeman, Glenn Greenspan, the golfer was released in good condition. This conflicts with earlier reports from the highway patrol that states Woods’ was in serious condition.

According to a local newspaper, the airbags did not deploy.

The police report claimed: “driver had just pulled out of the driveway at his residence … as [vehicle] began to drive on Deacon Circle, [vehicle] struck a fire hydrant. The front of [vehicle] then struck a tree…”

The crash is currently under investigation.
