Tiger Woods Car Accident, Treated For Facial Lacerations

tiger_woods_car_accidentAs we reported earlier, famed golf player, Tiger Woods, was involved in a car accident. We have received reports that Woods was treated for facial lacerations. This report comes from Gary Brunh, mayor of Windermere, Florida.

Airbags were not deployed according to police. Airbags do not deploy under speeds of 33 mph.

The accident happened when Woods was pulling out the driveway of his home in Isleworth, Florida. Woods was driving a Cadillac Escalade. The vehicle lost control and rammed into a fire hydrant and then a tree.

Health Central Hospital called it “a minor car accident outside his home last nght.” The accident happened at around 2:30 a.m. this morning.

“He was admitted, treated and released today in good condition,” read a joint statement from the hospital and woods.

According to Woods spokesman Glenn Greenspan, Woods was released today in good condition.

Police are ruling out alcohol but are investigating the crash.

Tiger Woods lives in Florida with his wife, Elin Nordegren, 29, and their two children.
