How to carve a turkey:
1. You want to have a sharp, thin-bladed carving knife.
2. Run the knife along the bottom of the turkey, until you find the places where the thighbones meet the body
3. Slip the knife into the joint to separate thigh from body on each side
4. Using the same technique, separate the drumstick from the thigh
5. Run the knife along the bone and separate the meat from the thigh and drumstick.
6. Cut the thigh and leg meat into thin slices
7. Using the knife, find the place where the wings and the body connect
8. Slip the knife into the joint and separate the wings
9. Carve thin pieces off the breast
